Taking place in 1980's New York, The Last Dragon is a cult classic produced by legendary Motown founder Berry Gordy, blending martial arts, music, and vibrant 80s style. The film follows Leroy Green, known as “Bruce Leroy,” on his journey to achieve the ultimate martial arts power known as The Glow. While Bruce Leroy is the heart of the story, the film is equally memorable for the over-the-top villain, Sho’nuff—the self-proclaimed Shogun of Harlem—whose iconic lines and flamboyant style have made him a pop-culture legend.

Adding to the film’s charm is the stunning Vanity, who plays Laura Charles, a glamorous VJ and singer who captures Leroy's heart. Vanity’s performance and charisma left a lasting imprint, frequently referenced in hip-hop culture.

With its funky soundtrack driven by Motown hits and a perfect blend of action, comedy, and romance, Berry Gordy's The Last Dragon is a true 80s gem—a vibrant showcase of music, style, and martial arts that continues to inspire and entertain generations of fans.
